Dr. Sara Parker

Dr. Sara Parker earned her psychology degree with honours and a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology from Deakin University and was named Australian Psychologist of the Year (2023). She primarily works with the LGBTQIAP+ community and has clinical and research expertise in the impact of gender and sexuality on mental health.
Dr. Parker treats a wide range of concerns, with special interests in trauma, attachment, self-worth, substance use (particularly crystal methamphetamine), and relationship difficulties. She is an advanced Certified Schema Therapist and integrates Schema Therapy, EFT, ACT, EMDR, and CBT, with additional training in Gottman Couples Therapy and clinical hypnosis.
